Mrs. Arshiya Subhani holds the esteemed position of Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing department and Head of Learning Resources at Bath Spa University Academic Center, Ras Al Khaimah. With a profound academic journey rooted in computer science, she brings both expertise and passion to the world of education.

Having earned a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science, Mrs. Arshiya embarked on a rewarding career in academia that spans over a decade. She has started her career in 2011 teaching undergraduate computer science engineering students in esteemed University in India. Later joined as Lecturer at Bath Spa University Academic Center Ras Al Khaimah in 2015, since then, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and a deep dedication to the development of students.

Mrs. Arshiya’s areas of expertise encompass a wide spectrum of the computer science landscape. From cyber security, which plays a crucial role in our digitally connected world, to proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C++, C#, and is also well-versed in web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JSPs, and PHP, and excels in imparting knowledge on database connectivity using MySQL, WAMP Server, and XAMPP Server, including mobile app development (Android) collectively brings a comprehensive skill set to the classroom.

Additional responsibilities of Mrs. Arshiya besides Academic is to provide services as a Program Coordinator for MSc Creative Computing department and also to serve as a member of RAKEZ Compliance.
