A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) UK, Masters in Digital Visual Communication, and with over 18 years of teaching experience at higher education in the UAE, Mr. Khan currently leads the School of Computing at the RAK Academic Center, offering the UG|PG programs in Creative Computing, and Cyber Security. Pursuing his PhD in Digital Visual Design, Mr. Khan delivers the modules in Ideation and Creativity, Digital Storytelling, Digital Visual Design, and Experience Design, while actively monitoring, and supporting programs’ vision, modules combination & modifications, lecture contents, assessment tools & outcomes, and students’ achievements & satisfaction.
Starting his academic career as a Lecturer in 2004 at the Pearl Academy of Design (India) in Sharjah, Mr. Khan served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire (UK) in Ajman from 2010 till 2014, before joining the Bath Spa University, RAK Academic Center as one of the founding members of the organization. Besides his academic & supervisory responsibilities, Mr. Khan also actively contributes to the Annual UK Study Tour, RAKEZ Annual Compliance, QAA Annual Inspection, and the Creative Computing’s portfolio website www.ccstuds.com.
